You may think that it won’t work, but hear me out: even if the roller is less than spotless, grab a pair of household scissors and trim away any dried paint from the edges. Simply giving the nap a quick trim will allow you to reuse it, and the paint from past DIY projects won’t interfere with your new painting job.
