Allergy-Friendly Product

These allergy-friendly products will help you breathe easier in your home!

Allergies really are the worst thing to deal with. It’s not like you chose to fight with nature the second the weather becomes nice. I mean, how are you supposed to enjoy spring’s beauty when it feels like your body is against it all?

Luckily, in this modern day, you can buy plenty of over-the-counter products and make home remedies to help alleviate your itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. But, if you’re prepping your allergy arsenal now, consider going beyond bulking up on Benadryl and tissue boxes.

I say that because there are a ton of allergy-friendly products that you can tack onto your usual meds. These symptom-soothing relief products I recommend might not permanently get rid of your usual woes, but they’ll help you breathe a little easier when the pollen starts to hover around.

So, if you want to enjoy the springtime, minus any sneezing, consider the 8 allergy-friendly products below.

Undyed Towels

We all know that allergies take many forms. And some people have fabric allergies. But you can pick up a Coyuchi Undyed Air Weight Organic Towel set that’s made of woven and sustainably grown organic cotton. This allergy-friendly product is free of toxins and irritating chemicals that can cause skin irritation.

Besides that, the highly absorbent towels also have quick drying capabilities. So, there’s less of a chance that bacteria will develop on them. The towel set includes two hand towels, two bath towels, and two washcloths.

Steam Mop

Steam is a powerful ally against residue and germs. I happen to love the Bissell PowerFresh Deluxe Steam Cleaner because it steams and sanitizes tile, hardwood, and any other hard floors. Using three levels of cleaning, 99.9% of bacteria and germs can be eliminated without using harmful chemicals.

For sticky, tough areas, the flip-down easy scrubber brushes them away. Another convenience of this allergy-friendly product is the water cup, which easily fills the water tank and can be attached to the handle when unused. And since this smart steam mop has swivel steering, it’s a breeze to mop around and under furniture.

Touchless Trash Can

As you would assume, all sorts of germs creep into your trash can. And obviously, you don’t want to touch the lid. But, the Kohler 8-gallon Loft Stainless Steel Step Trash Can has a metal foot pedal for hands-free operation.

The stay open feature on this allergy-friendly product allows it to remain open as long as you need it to. It also comes with a detachable plastic liner, has a fingerprint-proof finish to keep it looking spotless, and you can use regular trash bags.

And since this garbage can has flush features, you can put it up against the cabinet or wall to save some valuable floor space. In addition to stainless steel, this trashcan is available in white with stainless steel and black with stainless steel.

Hypoallergenic Pillows with Bamboo Covers

Whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach, your head is cradled on your pillow for quite a few hours each night. And when you mix those foam by-products in your pillow with allergens, sweat, dust mites, and bacteria, it’s enough to cause nightmares!

But the Coop Home Goods Eden Adjustable Pillow is a fantastic substitute that’s hypoallergenic and made of microfiber and memory foam. The fill of this allergy-friendly product is wrapped in a stretchy liner and then covered by a polyester and bamboo-derived viscose rayon case to fight dust mites.

The pillow even comes with an extra half-pound of bag fill. So you can unzip your new pillow and add more fill or take some out depending on your desired comfort level.

Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor

An air purifier can clean your air, but you should also identify precisely what’s in the air if you suffer from allergies. The Airthings Wave Plus Air Quality Monitor will pick up on radon, volatile organic compounds, and carbon dioxide, as well as monitor humidity levels, temperature, and air pressure.

This allergy-friendly product can be mounted on the wall just like a smoke detector, and by waving your hand in front of it, it’ll turn yellow for fair air quality, green for good air quality, or red for poor air quality.

And the best part is that you can download the smartphone app or connect to Google Assistant, Alexa, or EFT to get precise readings for each of the six indoor air factors.

Self-Cleaning Water Bottle With UV Water Purifier

Staying hydrated is important, especially if you have allergies. But certain contaminants in the water can cause serious health issues. This is where the LARQ Self-Cleaning Stainless Steel Water Bottle comes in. This allergy-friendly product uses UV-C LED technology to sanitize your water inside and clean the bottle’s interior.

By pressing the button on the top, the inside of the bottle and whatever is in it are cleaned within 60 seconds, and it continues cleaning every two hours to confirm that the water bottle stays free from bacteria and viruses.

The 32oz bottle also comes with a USB rechargeable battery. From a single charging session, this bottle lasts up to a month. Plus, the silicone sleeve protects it from scratches and bumps.

Robot Vacuum

If you’re not a big fan of vacuuming, the Proscenic 850T Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner might just be for you! It can vacuum and mop your floors to decrease the amount of dust and any other allergens. Using a laser navigation system, this allergy-friendly product can create a map of your room and decide the best path.

When the battery runs down, it’ll automatically go back to its charging station, and when charging is complete, it’ll pick up where it left off. It’s multifaceted enough to work in 3 cleaning modes: y-shaped mopping, vacuum, and simultaneous vacuuming and mopping.

Using the app, you can even schedule cleaning, create no-go zones, specify specific rooms to clean, and much more. This robot also has sensors to guarantee it doesn’t slam into walls or furniture or fall off the top of your stairs. Here’s the link for this genius little allergy-friendly product from Amazon!

Warm and Cool Mist Humidifier

Humidifying the air can help relieve your allergy symptoms. And the Elechomes Cool and Warm Mist Humidifier can guarantee that you have the right moisture levels in your home regardless of the weather outside. This allergy-friendly product is designed for big rooms up to 775 square feet.

Water is conveniently added at the top of the appliance, which helps reduce making a mess and spills. And since the tank is big, it doesn’t need to be filled too often.

Another amenity is the digital readout, which lets you know the current humidity level at all times. And the 8-touch control options are all conveniently located on the front of it.

If you haven’t tried any of these allergy-friendly products before, it might be time to start! And if you have, be sure to leave a comment and share your thoughts on them.
