4. Arrange them by a criterion
Decluttering could take a lot of time if you have much stuff, but once you do it, selecting and putting it on a criterion should not be a problem!
We all have a personal way to arrange our things, so just think about it and do it your way! I, for one, like to put the small things down so I can reach them and look through them when I need them. The big and solid things are easy to spot, so they don’t necessarily need to be stored on a lower level.
Depending on which space in the house you want to declutter, you can easily move the stuff if you find out later that it is not working the way you thought it would.
