4. Forgetting to clean the vacuum
Using a vacuum is the best way to clean the floors. We sometimes use the vacuum when we have to sweep the floors and we don’t want to use a broom. It makes everything look better, and if there’s no clutter around, it looks like we’ve spent hours and hours getting the house tidy. This is perfect for when guests come over and there’s no time to do chores around the house.
Why the surface is not clean: As much as we like this device, since the vacuum’s suction is reduced when the filter hasn’t been replaced or cleaned in a while, dirt and dust are recirculated back into the air and carpet via the unclean vent.
Solution: When the vacuum bag or canister fills up, immediately replace it or empty it. After making sure the power is off, use a wet microfiber cleaning cloth or moist paper towel to wipe off the vacuum’s attachments, hose, and vent. You’ll notice a huge difference next time, we promise.

I thought about the toilet brush idea before and I am cleaning it more often since Covid has surfaced. That never hurts anyways. Preventing illness goes a long way.
I’d clean it with a soap ( not soup) solution though. 🤣
A few drops of Lysol in cleaned toilet, swish toilet brush well & this should prove sufficient! The bottle claims it will kill even Covid germs.

the suggested process of adding baking soda to vinegar is a waste of time. The vinegar will convert the baking soda to sodium acetate, water, as well as carbon dioxide gas. I suggest that you do two different steps. 1st vinegar as an anti microbial treatment and 2nd) baking soda to absorb odors.

Carbon dioxide is something we exhale. It is not good to be inhaled as it displaces oxygen and makes you drowsy or sleepy.
Bleach is a carcinogen and extremely dangerous!
Natural cleaners like vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, borax, and baking soda are certainly safer
