What makes it dirty: As much as we would want them to, these feathers don’t “catch and lock dust” as the dusters’ commercials claim they would. As opposed to really eliminating dust, feather dusters often only push it around or let it fall to the floor.
Besides making everything dirtier than before, if you have any allergies or sensitivities, all the germs and bacteria that fall down are more likely to make you sneeze, cough, or blow your nose.
Solution: Spray the area you want to freshen up with the proper cleaning solution and wipe it off with a microfiber cleaning cloth or a disposable paper towel.
There are people who want to make their furniture shine, so the 1st thing they do is clean the surface with a cloth that has product on it and then wipe it with a clean paper towel that is free of any product.

I thought about the toilet brush idea before and I am cleaning it more often since Covid has surfaced. That never hurts anyways. Preventing illness goes a long way.
I’d clean it with a soap ( not soup) solution though. 🤣
A few drops of Lysol in cleaned toilet, swish toilet brush well & this should prove sufficient! The bottle claims it will kill even Covid germs.

the suggested process of adding baking soda to vinegar is a waste of time. The vinegar will convert the baking soda to sodium acetate, water, as well as carbon dioxide gas. I suggest that you do two different steps. 1st vinegar as an anti microbial treatment and 2nd) baking soda to absorb odors.

Carbon dioxide is something we exhale. It is not good to be inhaled as it displaces oxygen and makes you drowsy or sleepy.
Bleach is a carcinogen and extremely dangerous!
Natural cleaners like vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, borax, and baking soda are certainly safer
