One of the more impactful survival uses for duct tape is the capability of insulating things. You can do this with clothing and Winter survival shelters using duct tape.

Duct Tape Hack: Start a campfire

For camping and survival enthusiasts, duct tape can be useful in numerous ways. One of them is its ability to serve as kindling for a fire. After all, it IS flammable.

According to a camping tips site, “Camping Forge,” duct tape can be shredded into strips and merged into a makeshift “bird’s nest.” After that, all you need to do is ignite the flame!
