6. Linens
If you have a big family, then you probably have a lot of linens in the closet, and somehow they seem to multiply. You end up collecting a bunch and probably not using them all. If you start decluttering for the winter holidays, it won’t hurt to look through your linens as well.
Sort through all of the towels you use daily and throw away those that are frayed, ripped, discolored, etc. Store four or five old towels for use as cleaning cloths and to mop up any significant spills that are bound to happen.
As you do with your clothing, you can donate these items since there will always be people in need of them!
