3. Old bills and paper statements
If you’re thinking about decluttering for winter, you may also want to take a look through all those paper statements and old bills you have forgotten in a box somewhere.
Although it’s advised to save some documents, such as bank statements, for seven years, you don’t have to store a ton of paper in your house. Start converting your paper invoices and statements to electronic ones, and save them on a flash drive that is only used for that purpose.
