No. 5 on our list of TikTok decorating trends is user @liz.joseph’s idea. She shared a great hack for upcycling an old mirror to make it look more aesthetic and expensive.
If you don’t have an old mirror, you can purchase one almost everywhere at a relatively low cost. Don’t forget to choose a basic mirror. They can be picked up from garage sales, your standard big box store, the “free” listing on Craigslist, or antique stores. Amazon also has plenty of options at very affordable prices!
Getting back to TikTok decorating trends and @liz.joseph’s idea, she used bamboo skewers, which she sprayed gold. Next, she glued them to her old mirror, and voilà, she gave it a ‘sunburst’ style!
