Plumbers Never Do These 8 Things in Their Home, so Why Do YOU?

  • Never use your toilet like a trash can

Another thing plumbers never do is throw away baby wipes, hard paper towels, or feminine hygiene products. Even though the box may say it’s safe to flush it down the toilet, it’s not recommendable. Toilets and plumbing systems are made to manage both toilet paper and biological waste. Flushing anything else can clog pipes and harm them, even those marked as flushable. The sewage system as a whole may become blocked by these objects.

This can eventually turn into a costly problem at the sewage treatment facility in your city, not to mention a danger to the general public’s health. Disposable baby wipes should be thrown in the trash, just like plumbers do.

  • Stop using harsh chemicals down the drain!

Another thing that plumbers never do is use the wrong type of chemicals for the drains. Most of the time we are indeed tempted to use cost-effective products, but sometimes it’s better to read the labels first.

The majority of these supplies are not only useless but also caustic, which means that if you accidentally contact them, they might damage your skin and the pipes. Do these cleansers aid in hair removal? not at all! Some of the dirt and hair might be burned off. But in the end, it won’t prevent that building from happening again.

So if plumbers never do this, then how do we get rid of clogs? If nothing seems to work, use a plumbing snake or an enzymatic drain cleaner.

If you checked out all the cleaners from the store but none of them seemed to fit the description we’ve made, take a look at this one from the Natural Elements Store that’s available on Amazon for only $22.99 for 1 gallon. I wouldn’t skip this offer if I were you!

For excess grease after cooking save and use your old paper coffee cups instead of a jar or plastic. Freeze the grease then dispose in garbage on morning of garbage collection. I do this with many of old cooking liquids and in summer chicken and meat bones
