5. Replace Doorknobs with Levers
A door handle can either be a door lever or a doorknob, which has a round form. It comes in various shapes, functions, and designs. Some can make a classic, plain door look expensive and grand. However, some designs can also be difficult for people with certain health problems.
For instance, some mobility issues, like arthritis, may make it difficult for seniors to twist door knobs. Not to mention that doorknobs are harder to handle if your hands are slippery or wet or if you’re carrying something with both hands.
This is why you may want to include in your home upgrade list replacing your doorknobs.
