4. Rotate the decorative pieces
This is an easy trick to upgrade your space without any new items. Really, you need only what you already have in your home and you are good to go.
Maybe all of the flowers you have planted in pots that are now in your kitchen will look incredibly good on your front porch. Or that vase that you have near your fireplace will add the magic you desire to your entryway.
You probably have many versatile decorative items in your home, and one of the best things you can do if you want your space to feel new is to rotate them around. Most of them will look good in one place, and when you feel bored with them in one place, you can easily move them to another.
Change the mood in your home and start playing with this. If you have books on your bookshelves, you can take some of them and place them on your coffee table. This works best with those books that have artful covers. Take that decorative bowl you have in your entryway and move it into your kitchen or living room.
It’s all about trial and error. Rotate the items and see where they look best!
