Duct Tape Hack: Stop Furniture Scuffs
Furniture legs can damage your hardwood floors at the drop of a dime. And those furniture sliders you buy at the grocery store can put a dent in your wallet. Instead, stick some duct tape to the bottom of your furniture legs.
The non-stick side of the tape creates a smooth surface to help the legs slide, stopping them from scratching and scuffing your floors.
Duct Tape Hack: Insulate Your Boots
Duct tape can also be an economical substitute for shoe insulation insoles. Just use it to cover the insoles of your winter boots so the duct tape’s silver side faces your feet.
That silver material helps reflect your body heat back to you for added warmth and even adds some durability to the used insoles, as well.
