Duct Tape Hack: Make A DIY Fly Sticky Tape
Haven’t gotten a chance to buy some packs of sticky fly tape at the store? No problem! You have duct tape at home. Take your desired length of duct tape and double it back on itself to create a double-sided piece of sticky tape.
Then, simply hang a string or tack from the rafters or ceiling in your garage, barn, or wherever else flies have been invading your space. They’ll get stuck to the tape, and you can dispose of it when it’s full.
This strategy is much more affordable and far less messy than buying those premade versions.
Duct Tape Hack: Remove a splinter
Getting a splinter is never fun. But the removal process can be easier with duct tape. Medical News Today states that duct tape can quickly “help remove a deep splinter.”
All you have to do is thoroughly clean the area, cover it with duct tape, let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then simply pull it off. You’ll find that the splinter is now on the tape, out of your body.
