Storage

Let’s be honest: our garages tend to become nothing but storage rooms full of furniture, knickknacks, tools, and all kinds of things that we really don’t have space for in the house. With so much stuff, the garage is rapidly becoming a cluttered and dangerous environment.

However, adding a couple of adjustable storage shelves, racks, and even tool storage might prove helpful. After all, it keeps the floor free of clutter, ensuring enough space for your spouse to work safely around the garage. Another convenient feature is using storage shelves on rails with some plastic totes. It will make it much easier to keep the garage in order, and it will also allow your loved one to find the needed stuff with less trouble.

Besides, if there are multiple vehicles in the garage, another good rule of thumb would be to keep at least 5 feet between each vehicle and the walls. This way, the doors will open freely, enhancing safe access to the vehicle.
