Update your lawn furniture
You do not need to invest in new lawn furniture if yours looks like it has seen better days. As long as nothing is actually damaged or unsafe to use, you can easily DIY your way out of spending a fortune on new furniture.
All you will need to do is give them a good wash and scrub to get all the dirt and possible rust off the material, and then give them a fresh coat of paint and even polish! If you have metal furniture, you can easily clean and buff the metal with steel wool, and then you are free to paint it any color you wish. For wood furniture, you may need to sand certain parts, and then you can easily add a new coat of varnish to make the wood come back to life. You can also paint them before sealing the colors for protection.
Any vinyl furniture or cushion you may be using can easily be washed with a proper mixture of warm water, borax, and dishwashing soap. Just apply the mixture to the vinyl and then rinse it out. After everything is dry, you can spray paint them to make them look brand new.
