8. No more paint on the toilet seat

However, you should know that, no matter how many tarps or cloths you put down, someone is going to get some paint on the toilet seat—it’s a regrettable law of nature when painting a bathroom.
So here’s the next entry on our list of genius painting tricks: Wrap the toilet seat with some ordinary plastic wrap from the kitchen. This way, any paint spills will go on the plastic wrap instead of the toilet seat. Once the paint has dried, unwrap the perfectly clean porcelain.
