5. Bedside basket

This is a dollar store hack that you will love instantly! Do you have a small bedroom? No worries, because this bedside basket will fit perfectly here. Put a straightforward jute basket near your bedroom wall to serve as a temporary shelf unit rather than taking up space on the floor with a large nightstand. Books, charging cords, and other bedtime necessities can all be piled inside of this magnificent storage cabinet.

6. Wicker bathroom towel shelves

A lot of people have tiles all over their bathroom walls, and that makes it difficult to hang things because you have to drill a lot of holes, and the result might not be that good in the end. However, if you have a small space and you need some extra storage for your towels or your toilet paper, these wicker baskets are everything you need!

All you have to do is turn the basket on its side, with the bottom on the wall. Glue it with a strong adhesive that is also suitable for tiles, and there you go! You now have a neat holder that keeps your bathroom away from clutter. And this DIY project is not going to cost an arm and a leg. These baskets are less than $2 in every store.

7. Hide your internet router in an old bookcase

This dollar store DIY project is adorable, not to mention cheap! If you’re up for destroying an old book that collects dust because you no longer read it because of its poor page conditions, then you must try out this hack. Tear apart the pages and keep the hard cover, then stick your internet router in it. Besides looking fancy, this hack also has the benefit of having the sides open for the router to prevent overheating. How cool is this?

  1. … okay, so I found it but you could have given me a clue where to look for it like maybe ……………………………… >>>> Start here >>>. Or perhaps … “your 10 Dollar Tree hacks are listed from 1 – 10 below and number 6 is in red. Here ya go: (Hack # 1), (Hack # 2 ) … etc but those are just an idea. After reading over these hacks that I had to have, this is my review. These are kinda cute and maybe a bit helpful under certain circumstances but there were 2 that had me scratching my head. There was one where you suggested using storage baskets in the freezer and it left me curious to know just how big is your freezer? I am lucky to find room for my ice cream so I have no idea where I’d put extra baskets. You must have a walk in set up? The second thing that had me confused what trying to imagine what a “burner cover” was and how this item could become a stylish mirror in my home. Thanks.

    1. I bought a burner cover for my glass top stove, but you could easily make one. It’s a padded piece of material that you can roll up when you cook.
I have a built-in microwave above my stove. I was terrified that I would drop a hot bowl from Mikey and shatter my stove top. Now I have peace of mind and no longer use my Microwave as a bread box.

    2. I have an upright freezer and I put the baskets/plastic boxes, that I get from the dollar store in my freezer and label them according to type so I know where the fruit or vegetables are etc. it works great.

    3. The plastic bins for the freezer are meant for a full size freezer, not a refridgearator with a freezer. I’ve been using the for 30 years to seperate my different meats, beef, pork, chicken, seafood. It really does help. You can buy burner covers at aly walmart, dollar store, etc. They are round or square and meant to go over your stove burners so it looks nice. All the ads and lack of pictures hurt trying to follow this.

  2. I’ve read other articles like this before that give you some cute and/or useful ideas from dollar store items but this is not one of them. The trash can nightstand stands out to me, “turn it upside down” and hurrah, you have a nightstand that will hold what, one book or a box of tissues. I think most people want something a little bigger than that to use as a nightstand.
